The eye of the darkness sensor must be placed at a bright place.
At brightness the relay will not be ‘ON’
While it is getting darker the darkness sensor becomes below 1-10 lux, the relay switch goes ON after 30-60 seconds. Those 30-60 seconds are named as delay of the darkness sensor.

This delay function, avoids that the darkness sensor gets confused when it is exposed directly to high intensive….and short term light ray.
